It was always my dream to attend a fashion show for The Blonds during New York Fashion Week. In my head, the brand represents “power” and “glamour” – believing impossible is just an opinion. I rarely feel the kind of excitement that radiates from a show like The Blonds. I felt like a little girl on my way to meet the princess. When I arrived, it was like a huge party.

The collection is covered in silver and shining like a star. The cuts are artful with unique red carpet designs that are wearable. It’s a look that screams to stay out all night and show the worlds that blonds rule.

Designing duo David and Phillipe Blond celebrated the 10th anniversary of the brand with a different, but no less exciting, collection adding their glamorous style killer gowns and debuting menswear.

The iconic Blonds were inspired by lovely Lana Del Rey and heavy metal music. Fabulous items were shown like liquid bomber jackets, sleeveless muscle sweaters, gowns, corsets - and of course body suits, which are still the face of the brand. The Blonds surprised with very wearable pieces that proved the brand is, and always will be, sparkling like a diamond.
