The Met Museum and the Costume Institute are celebrating Pride month with the exhibition "Camp. Notes on Fashion".




The Met Museum and the Costume Institute are celebrating Pride month with the exhibition “Camp. Notes on Fashion.” They’ll be hosting a series of events, performances, discussions, and workshops. ‪The excitement starts on June 11‬, during “Museum Mile,” ‪from 6:30 to 7 p.m.‬, Battle of the Legends: Vogueing at The Met is inviting six competitors—Asia Balenciaga, Bootz Prodigy, Dashaun Lanvin, Omari Mizrahi, Tamiyah Mugler, and Ty Ebony—to perform.

Competition judges will include Twiggy Garcon; Jordan Roth, Jose Xtravaganza, and Anna Wintour, Editor in Chief of Vogue. The performances will culminate in the selection of a crowd favorite and a grand prize winner—the "Legend Slayer."                                                   

On ‪June 23 Sunday at The Met‬ will be happening a conversation between the greatest  Billy Porter and Madison Moore. Porter and Moore will discuss the exhibition Camp: Notes on Fashion, the concept of camp in performance, and the impact of ballroom style on pop culture and high fashion.
