“China: Through the Looking Glass" On View May 7–August 16, 1015.
Today,at the Met hosted a press presentation in our Chinese Galleries for the spring 2015 Costume Institute exhibition, “China: Through the Looking Glass.” The exhibition, on view May 7 to August 16, will explore how China has fueled the fashionable imagination for centuries. The Met Museum welcomed Silas Chou, Wendi Murdoch, Anna Wintour( editor -in- chief of Vogue US), Wong Kar Wai and Joe Zee (editor in chief of Yahoo), with the Met Museum President Emily K. Rafferty, Costume Institute Curator Andrew Bolton, and Douglas Dillon Chairman of the Department of Asian Art Maxwell K. Hearn in the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery for a glimpse at some of the Chinese art and film, as well as high fashion, to be featured in the exhibition, on view May 7–August 1015, at the Met in New York.
China: Through the Looking Glass is a marvelous exhibition that is absolutely worth to go see it.
It’s important for us fashion lovers, to see and appreciate this passion from another Countries.
