Met Gala 2013*

Last night in NYC happened the "Punk; chaos to Couture" the Met Gala that the whole world was, like me waiting with their computer excited at the Vogue.com watching live the fabulous red carpet. It was my first time watching online and l thought it was weird, l wanted to see it on our big TV, but it was good to have an idea how the Met Gala works The girl who was hosting was very boring, she didn't pass any excitement, the same question over and over. Other thing I thought it was kind of weird was when she asked the guests which punk band was their favorite, or which song…anyone knew it any band lol what a shame!!!How can they go in something so cool, so unique like this exhibition and didn't know anything about it, some of people didn't really dress up like Punk…they thought they’re at the Oscar lol , but here is my favorite looks Madonna was the best one, really sexy, absolutely punk!!!Sarah Jessica rocked a Giles Deacon gown with knee-high tartan boots and had. Lee McQueen would have loved. Miley girl more Punk impossible in her super cool Marc Jacobs fabulous dress, Anna Wintour looked lovely in her long flower power Chanel dress, Cara Delevingne is now my favorite model, not only because she’s beautiful, but because she has such strong personality and an amazing attitude anywhere she can be on a cover of a magazine or just making a silly instagram pic silly face. I wish I was there last night, I honestly felt little pain on my heart for not being there, special that was celebrating the Punk style which l love it and AH soooo match’s with my Fashion on Rock. After that I diced to yes, make a trip to NYC to check it out the Punk; chaos to couture and start to prepare myself for a very stylish and punkish spring 2013*

"Punk; chaos to Couture"

"Punk; chaos to Couture" is the name of one more excited exhibition organized by Vogue magazine with the Met museum in NYC. May 6 will be the night that we, fashion lovers wish could be part of the so desired Met Gala where reunites only the powerful, beautiful and talents people of not only fashion, but entertainment. Every year this wonderful event brings many surprises and this year, l would say the Punk style it is the huge surprise who doesn’t like punk rock ‘n’ roll!? It’s fun and fresh. It was big hit years ago and still a fun way to dress up. The Met museum bring the best of luxury with an incredible collection designed by 12 leading labels, including Dolce& Gabbana, Givenchy and Balmain. The range will launch May 2. Other brands inspired also with Punk style such as Prabal Gurung, Rodarte, Moschino, Tom Binns and the Queen of Punk, hippie chic Vivianne Westwood. The spirit of Punk is now connected with the high fashion Ladies & Gentleman and it is time to enjoy more than ever*

The grace of Gwyneth Paltrow*

I am forever in love with Gwyneth Paltrow. I remember when I was a teenager, having this collage book where I used cut and glue pics of not only Gwyneth, but Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen style how every time they look so stylish and cool. l Remember one pic of Gwyneth looking so amazing next to Tom Ford, wearing jeans and a simple and chic black jacket. I used look over and over to those pictures and thinking wow how could she being so beautiful and elegant at the same time. As I said I being following Gwyneth for a long time and it’s awesome to see that she’s not only a fashion icon, she’s a Mom, great actress and a real friend. Last month l saw her at cover and interviews in two magazines and amazed me in how she’s so honest about her age, beauty and that yeah she cheats on her diet. Very few people in Hollywood have the real deal in their resume and Gwyneth for sure has it*

Boys, what delicious word to say right!? For the first time l diced to include “Boys” at Fashion on Rock, to have a very special space to talk about those sexy things that drive your lives crazy and at the same time are inspiring with their unique style. I was never really interesting about share or talking about in what boys should or not to wear, but now with my lover I started to paid attention and I gave to him (to start) a super cool Brazilian flip flop saying that he should or could wear it with jeans and a T-shirt. Boys doesn’t need much to look fashion, they need to be only wise to pick the cool pieces. The other reason also l’ll start to write and share the secret world of the boys lol its Fashion on Rock fan number 2, Mr. Pablo E Briceno Jordan, a lovely reader from Washington DC who’s forever tag me on very attractive posts about fashion for boys. This summer will be in DC for a while and we’ll meet Mr. Pablo for a coffee and hear in person what’s up in the boyz fashion world, what they expect and want from fashion and what they can do to make it better*
